Foam on Tar
A tar and gravel roof is so heavy.
A foam roof is very light weight. Foam roofing done by Preferred Roofing goes right over a tar and gravel roof, adding very little weight. Plus when preparing the roof for foam, Preferred Roofing removes all the loose gravel and dirt. That also reduces weight.
With foam the roof becomes a smooth surface that sheds water beautifully. A tar and gravel roof absorbs heat from the sun. A foam roof reflects the sun’s rays making the surface and the building much cooler.
A foam roof from Preferred Roofing has Class 4 Hail Rating, which means it can withstand up to 2″ size hail.
